Lovely and striking wildflowers can be found on most trails across Upper Bidwell Park. The key is knowing when and where to look during the wildflowers season. I chase wildflowers in bloom as whenever possible, focusing on the golden hour, partly cloudy or overcast days, and directional light to use in my images. And, of course, you can’t have winds above 9 mph if you are hoping for a few still moments to capture delicate flowers.
