Lovely and striking, the wildflowers of Upper Bidwell Park can be found alongside on many park trails. The key is knowing when and where to look during the wildflower (Feb-June) season. I chase wildflowers in bloom whenever I can! I hope you enjoy these images.
The best time for me is early morning and the golden hour. Also, partly cloudy days are terrific. Fully overcast days can create a wonderful softbox in the sky to have even light across large areas. And of course, directional light when it’s there!
